Beth Woiteshek earned her master’s degree from the University of Michigan and is a Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW). She has been practicing since 1995, mostly working with adolescents and their families. Most of her experience has been working for two different school districts as a school social worker. Prior to this, she worked with children and adolescents for Community Mental Health. Beth is very passionate about working with adolescents and their families to provide support and guidance. She specializes in working with adolescents who may be experiencing anxiety, depression, and attention/focus concerns. She believes the key to helping adolescents and young adults is to build solid relationships and provide a safe space where they feel comfortable. Her approach to therapy is to fully engage and fully listen. All people including adolescents and young adults, must feel safe and heard in order to fully engage themselves. Once a relationship is established, tremendous growth is possible. She has seen such growth occur many times as she provides a warm, non-judgmental environment. She is dedicated to working with adolescents and young adults to help them find their voices, advocate for themselves, develop healthy coping skills, and move through the world with confidence. As a result, they live less conflicted lives. She realizes she learns from my clients which then helps all others. Beth welcomes you and truly looks forward to meeting you.
