Montana Mueller, LLMSW is a Limited-License Master Social Worker in the State of Michigan. Montana received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Work from Grand Valley State University and her Master of Social Work Degree from Andrews University. While in graduate school, Montana earned additional certificates in the focus areas of Marriage & Family as well as Trauma-Informed therapy. Her professional experiences include being a Social Work Supports Coordinator at an Area Agency on Aging as well as the Assistant Director for a local non-profit community organization. Montana holds various volunteer positions within her community and beyond.

Friends and family describe Montana as dedicated, real, honest, caring, empathetic, compassionate, and patient. As a therapist, Montana strives to uphold all these personal characteristics and more. Montana enjoys working with children, adolescents, adults, seniors, couples, and those with disabilities. Montana’s areas of expertise include anxiety, panic attacks, depression, relationship challenges, life transitions, negative thoughts, and negative self-beliefs. Montana promotes individual values and beliefs within the therapy setting and, if desired, she will encourage these values and beliefs to be an integral part of the healing process and treatment plan. Montana utilizes a variety of treatment modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Client-Centered Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Creative Therapy. Montana does not believe in a one size fits all approach, and, as a result, she vows to work diligently and creatively in order to create treatment plans that are person-centered and effective for all people she serves.
