MaKenzie Umphrey is a Temporary Limited Licensed Psychologist (TLLP) who provides comprehensive psychological evaluations for clients ages 8 and older. Her approach emphasizes thorough assessment, diagnostic variability, and practical recommendations that support clients across home, school, and work settings.

MaKenzie earned her Bachelor’s degree in Music with a minor in Psychology at Central Michigan University and completed her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology at Capella University. Her background in music informs a holistic, strengths-based perspective, allowing her to appreciate each person’s unique abilities. She is trained in evidence-based assessment tools, structured clinical interviews, and behavioral rating scales used to evaluate attention, executive functioning, emotional regulation, and related concerns.

MaKenzie is committed to creating a supportive, collaborative evaluation experience. She works closely with families, schools, and other professionals to ensure assessment findings are clearly explained and translated into meaningful, actionable recommendations.
