Iesha earned her bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in psychology at Western Michigan University. She has worked in the mental health field since 2002 working with diverse populations that have included working as a direct care provider in specialized residential facilities for youth and adults as well as a case manager working with the SPMI (Severe Persistent Mentally Ill) population as well as experience working with adult male offenders in the Department of Corrections as well as adults hospitalized inpatient in State Psychiatric facilities.

Iesha has been trained in DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) as well as some Motivational Interview training. She provides individual therapy for teens and adults focusing on anxiety, depression, anger, emotion regulation, grief, self-esteem and co-occurring disorders. Her therapeutic approach is integrative/holistic, where she tailors her approach based on the person and their goals that they would like to obtain. She also provides ADHD evaluations.

She is a member of ATSA (Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers). She has experience in providing treatment to sex offenders during her work in the Department of Corrections providing SOP (Sex Offender Programming) as well as through a residential treatment program where individuals who parole and/or are discharged from psychiatric inpatient facilities that may have been adjudicated NGRI (Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity) and/or deemed permanently incompetent attend a PSB (Problematic Sexual Behaviors) Group.
